2015 Trilogy 38RL Bedroom TV

We were trying to hook up a Directv sat box to the Bedroom TV. The 2 Sat input coax cables are there, but no HDMI or Component feeds to tv, like the Living room. We figured that they just fell back in the hole. I got an Inspection Camera, and ran it through the receptacle hole. There is no cables plugged into either HDMI port, or the component AV ports in the TV. Now my question is How does this TV come off? I cannot get it to move, or find any obvious latches. Any help would be appreciated. I am debating making an access in the middle shelf of the amoir that I can reach through, then put a cover over? Any ideas or experience? Thank you, Kevin.

I ran into the same issue with my bedroom tv as well. Not sure where the thread went, as it was posted on here.

Anyway, the TV is mounted and then the cabinet is boxed in. So not very accessible.

What I did was go in through the side of the closet and popped the panel off beside the tv. Reached in and hooked up my cable, and ran it out beside the coax cables. Replaced the panel and good to go.

My 38RL has an armoir on each side. I am going to cut the round cable hole in the left armoir and put in my DVD player on that side, then cut a square access in the right Armoir, to reach to the Tv and hook up the 2 HDMI, and the component cables, then close up the inspection hole like the shower controls were done in the closet beside the door. Thank you for the info.

I believe our bedroom layouts are the same.

After gently popping off the panel, I cut a hole using a box cutter to reach in. Took a bit of fumbling around, but I was able to get the cable plugged in eventually, and replace the panel.

In my 2014 3850RL, I had to remove the window valance. Then, there are screws that hold the bottom panel (just above the valance) that can be removed and you have access to the back of the TV. Have to stand on your head to see the screws but they were there. I also heard some have staples holding that panel in place, not screws.

I did not remove the valance, but the front of mine was stapled so I didn't dig any deeper.

I will look tonight and see. They put the receptacle in the top left cabinet for a DVD player, but no cord hole. I will fix that at the same time. Thank both of you for your information.

I looked and my cabinet is identical to the one that Lenny pictured. I will make an access in the cabinet, and plug in the cords that way.

The access holes worked. The ports are on the back of the right side of the tv. The Samsung tv is bolted to a piece of 3/4 plywood, then anchored to the wall and trimmed out. I sure hope that LED tv lives a long life, because it will be a PAIN to replace. I installed plug in surge protectors on both tv and dvr units. I guess that if it ever fails, I can remove the attatchment bolts, and then use a tilt bracket to remount the replacement if the holes are different! Best way would be to find another TV with the same hole spacing and remount to the same holes!
