Airxcel (Air Conditioner) Fan Self Destructed
On my Trilogy, I has a third AC added when at the factory having other work completed. That was last year in Aug/Sept. Last week, the third AC (13.5K) started vibrating and then a loud series of bangs. After shutting it off, my son came over and got on the roof to see what happened.
And this one...
You can see in one picture there is a blade missing from the 3-bladed fan. In the other picture you can see the mounts where the fan was, but came off after the blade let loose.
I contacted Airexcel direct via their customer support. Next day a replacement blade and mounts were at the house ready to be installed. Mike at Airexcel did a great job in supporting this repair and I truly appreciate his outstanding support!

I love it when a manufacturer lives up to the implied promise. Good to hear how quickly your issue was addressed.

Funny I don't have a problem with my FR Dealer? Must be a isolated incident. I paid a fair price and didn't travel 1,000 miles for a cheap deal, possibly could this be causing issues with poor service?

B&B - In my case driving distance had nothing to do with it. Drove about 35 miles to purchase from Fun Town in Cleburne, Tx. Service Department still sucks. Glad your dealer is taking care of you. That's what we all expect, unfortunately that's not always happening.

We ordered a new unit from a small show in W Palm Beach, FL. We were spending the winter in warm climates.
Traveled 750 miles to get it after build. Got a fair deal, not a barn burner in savings. What we did get was a unit we SAW and spent HOURS IN and ordering it just the way we wanted. Not one regret!
That was 1 year ago! Bought 2 yr FR warranty.
As big as Atlanta is, our dealer base was not stocking Silverbacks!
No problem with services here or in the N Georgia mountains where we home base.
Would I go the same route again, YES!
You should get a good vibe before plunking down $60,000 CASH! It took us 15 months and looking at hundreds of RV's to make us happy.
Making a dealer happy with us is a small part of the equation. Many independents are being acquired by Camping World. When they buy, they get existing sales and service expertise. Some very good, some not. Marcus Lemonis will have a great organization over time. I DID NOT buy from CW. But, I do like what they are trying to do. These RV's are meant to be used for travel. The services will improve as the economy stays in a growth mode. As with auto dealers, the service absorption ratio will become a key driver for profits. For me, 5 years tops and we will either be out of RV'ing or it will become our go to cottage.
Safe travels and many new friendships be made along the way!!
