Where do I go to to light the furnace pilot light and switch it to run. I just bought the camper and the previous owner had no information for me.

Your thermostat should light the furnace. There shouldn't be a pilot light.
Probably would help if you got the make and model numbers of the important stuff, like the furnace, fridge, a/c, oven, WH and so on. Then go to the manufacturers websites and download the manuals.

The library link on the top of this page in the green bar has most of the manuals you will need to maintain or repair your RV. I have pasted the link to the library above.

Welcome to the forum

Hope this helps Tim

I doubt many of those manuals will apply to a 20 year old RV.

I had an '07 Cardinal 5th wheel and the furnace didn't have a pilot, neither did the water heater. An older unit might have a pilot. There have been MANY improvements in RV technology in the past 20 years. Good luck with your RV and welcome to the forum.

I owned a 1994 Holiday Rambler, the water heater and furnace both had electronic ignition, no pilot lights. All I had to do was either set the thermostat to the desired temperature for furnace or flip a switch for water heater. Water heaters can run either on propane or electricity or both, either way, make sure before turning on that you have water in the tank. If no water and you turn the electrical side on, the heating element will burn out in a matter of seconds.

You might be surprised. Our 2002 SOB Nash Northwood has a Suburban SF-25 furnace. (That's how I know so much about how the furnace system works.)
