After the 2nd "factory installed " regulator failed. The first showed red no matter what the second one worked for less than a year and showed green no matter what.
I checked my tanks and know where I stand at all times. This was the case on my last trip where everything showed green but I knew the port side tank was empty. (Leak in the feeder line to the regulator)
Just installed a new one recommended by my my RV mechanic.
It does switch over automatically but I still will run with only one tank at a time. Better safe than sorry.
Anyone know the quickest way to see that the propane gas has emptied and has switched over to the other tank ?
all I do is use up one tank at a time then manually shut the empty tank off and open the valve to the full tank. at my earliest convenience I will refill the empty tank, this way I will never run out of propane
