I have a 2015 Silverback 33IK. I'm getting things stocked up, checked out & preparing for a trip to Alaska from Galveston Texas. I have only had the 5er out twice for three days at a time. I was looking at the 924N Cavagna automatic changeover regulator. And thought how does this thing work? I started the burners on the stove and closed the valve on the bottle that I thought was on line. The change over worked as it should and the burners keep burning. But the green/red flag did not change over. So there is no indication that the tank I closed is empty. I even removed the hose from the closed tank to make sure there is no pressure on the regulator keeping the flag from changing. We plan to be in Alaska for about three months and I know that without the change over flag that I'll probably get bit in the butt not knowing which tank is on line and if I have an empty tank. I know of no other way to check the operation of the change over valve. Does anyone have any ideas on any other way to check the system?
