Emergency Propane Shutoff

I saw this ad from Lippert today.

Am I mistaken in thinking that propane tanks already have this built in?

Also, not sure how I would add this to a Class C horizontal tank, space wise, that already has an Extend-a-stay and regulator on it.

Any input would be appreciated. Click image for larger version

vertical tanks with OPD already have a safety of some type, if you open the valve with nothing connected they won't discharge and if opened with an open line like turn on BBQ valve before tank valve they'll just barely let gas go by. I'd save my money
