Extend stay

Ok need some help, how many times have you read that. I have a 2014 sunseeker 3170. I have hooked up an extend stay and a portable propane tank .
I need to remove the portable propane tank, 30, and when I disconnect the line to tank I hear propane coming out. I have the tank, turned off as well as the tank on rv. Any suggestions why propane is coming out? Thank you for your help!!

Mine does the same when I disconnect the tanks. The propane lines are still pressurized and are "draining" through the tank connection.

Without seeing your connections it is hard to say but its probably gas in the line.
The extenda stay units I am familiar with have a "Schrader" type check in the fitting you permanently install and it should not allow gas to escape.

Be sure to check all of your connections with soapy water or a commercial leak soap after connecting and disconnecting

Shut valves off then light stove and wait till it goes out on it's own, then remove the tank and see if it still does it. I'm willing to bet its the pressurized lines as others stated.
