FR3 LP Quick connect help

Hi all, new to this forum and just bought our first motorhome a 21 FR3 30ds.
Love it, but having an issue with the exterior propane quick connect. I have purchased two different hoses from amazon and both will not fit. They seem too long for the little ball lock to lock. Just pulls right out. Are there different sizes if these? I bough this here

DOZYANT 12 Feet 1/4" Quick Connect RV Propane Hose Converter Replacement for 1 lb Throwaway Bottle Connects 1 LB Bulk Portable Appliance to RV 1/4" Female Quick Disconnect https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SZLRWR2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_9LaDFbW050DJP

And another brand and both wonít lock.

Please help a newbie. Thanks

Visit your local propane dealer. That is what I had to do to get a hose that connected my grill to my r-pod. There is no standard for LP fittings. Even fittings that look similar are not compatible.

Also, if the quick connect on the RV is past the regulator, remove any regulator from the hose going to the grill.

Does your line from RV have a little valve on it ? Did you turn the valve before trying to connect your lines ?
