Furnace not staying lit, faulty regulator

We live in Michigan and were headed to FL in January when our Suburban furnace started malfunctioning on our Salem Hemisphere. A week before we left I fired it up and let it run for an hour. Good to go. Down in Indianapolis the burner would fire and then shut down, retry with same result. A trip to Walmart for a quartz heater and we were ok.

At our CG in FL was an authorized FR guy and he contacted Suburban and they asked about the propane pressure. We monitored the pressure with all oven burners on and furnace start. Pressure was 2 lb low and couldn't be increased at the regulator manual adjust. Installed new regulator and tested pressure. All good now.

I was surprised that a small loss of pressure would cause the furnace to shut down. The repair was covered under warranty.
