Hello!! Help!! with propane to stove
We are new to travel trailers…we bought ours new a 2020 grey wolf toy hauler we bought new….apparently we don’t know much about propane systems..after we bought it we had snowmegdan here in the south and our working stove stopped working…replaced the regulator and it worked until this winter….replaced regulator again and still the stove is getting no gas (cant hear or smell propane) this is gonna $75 me to death!! Is there something else we can check why no propane to the stove top or oven??

If you are turning the propane tanks on and off between trips, it is possible you are tripping the free flow safety valve. To insure this is not the issue, when you turn on the propane follow these steps.
very carefully crack the propane valve until you can hear the propane starting to flow. Stop and wait a minute or so until the lines are pressurized. Then slowly open the valve all the way. If you hear the valve make a single click noise, you were not slow enough and tripped the free flow safety. You need to wait 10 mins or so for it to reset.

Update…the propane is working!! The works….must be just the stove top and ove…is there a regulator or something in-line to it i should check??

Are you saying that the propane stove and oven aren't working? You may have to 'bleed' the line by turning it on for a minute or so til you smell propane. Then light it and keep it on for a minute or two until you get a constant flame.

Do you have a 2way propane refrigerator and a propane water heater? Are those working?
BTW. I sympathize with your problem with regulators. It took us til our third one to get one that we didn't wreck by opening it too fast.

I think the fridge is electric only and dont have water hooked up do cant test that…but the heater should be propane only?? It is working

Put a small open flame (match or simlar) along a stove burner and turn on the burner. There should be air coming out of the stove as evidenced by a breeze on the match. It may take several matches before the air is purged (bled) from the line and the propane comes out and the match is able to light the stove. If air is not coming out, the problem lies elsewhere. See the note above from flybob.

I'm going to side with Flybob. The OP said there was no gas flow, no smell of propane - I expect they had the gas on more than long enough to clear any air in the lines. Then it started working.
About 10 years ago, portable propane tanks were modified to have a safety flow valve added. In some cases, opening the tank valve too fast engages the safety and shuts down flow. I've had that problem on my home BBQ grill. My solution there was to lift and drop the tank to free the valve.

Maybe even longer than ten years. I bought 4 new horizontal tanks in 2001 when I was building my houseboat and they were equipped with the fast flow shutoffs.

If your stove and oven are on a slide, perhaps the LP line got kinked. Happened to me on the rubber LP hose where it connects to the slide.

Yes, there is an additional regulator for the range/oven. Lift off the burner grates, then lift the entire range top, and it will be obvious. Mine's at the front right, but you may have a different range.
