How to test low pressure lines?

I think I have all of the correct lines and regulators to run a grill from the low pressure outlet near the outside kitchen. When I went to use the grill for the first time, I can’t get even a whiff of propane smell coming from the grill.

Is there a way to test the lines upstream from the grill to see if I have any flow? I’m sure this dangerous and the fittings at the end of the lines are designed to prevent exactly what I’m talking about but I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this issue.

Does your grill have its own regulator? If so, that’s a problem. Double regulated propane won’t melt butter.

As Mr Dan said, do you have a double regulator situation?

Your propane tank to the trailer lines are regulated at the tank, so low pressure propane is supplied to all ports. I suspect the inside stove works?

If you are trying to hook another pressure regulated burner then that will not work. You must remove the regulator at your new burner and hook direct to the line of the trailer.
