Seems as if you're looking for a unicorn!

I can find male inverted flare fittings to hose barb, but male inverted flare to npt appears to be non-existent.

Do you mind telling me what you want it for?

yes, that would be a bastard fitting. the MIP is intended to seal at the tapered threads, the flare seals at the flare itself. Why not a sweat copper/MIP adapter?


You know they do make kits to connect a large tank to the existing regulator? It's called "Extend a stay"

It's a flare nut. Easy to screw to. only cost a couple dollars.
