Need hardware and "how to" for connecting Camp Chef Griddle to TT Propane Tanks

I'm sure this has been covered ad nauseam on this forum but I get a bit confused with the various hardware combinations available.

I want to be able to connect my Camp Chef Denali to my TT propane tanks. The TT has two tanks which are inter-connected. There is no separate quick connect (or connect of any type) to allow connection of any other propane devices.

What hardware and hoses will I need to accomplish this?

If anyone can share the "how-to" or direct me to its location that would be great and a "to buy" parts list from Amazon would be most awesome.

1000 Thanks,

Seakayaker

If I were you, I'd be consulting a gas fitter when you plan to cut into lines and add mods as suggested.

One thing you won't need is a regulator, as there is one inline at your TT tanks. If you have one after the TT one, you won't have any pressure to operate your CCD.

Without seeing what exactly you have do deal with, it's almost impossible for us to suggest fittings and whatnot to be purchased online. Kinda like surgery over the phone.

Pressurized gas is nothing to mess around with.

IF you were going to use this grill at home what would you need?

I toyed with the idea of rigging up a QD but did not as I thought it was more work than it was worth plus I would be limited in where the grill could be placed due to hose length.

How it is setup under normal conditions.

It can be setup any place.

A hose and gas tree from Coleman, I had the tank.

I ended up having this professionally done. With materials and labor it cost less than $200 and I consider money well spent. I no longer have to carry an extra propane tank on camping trips and I also can quickly swap out the QD connection on the Camp Chef side with the stock connectors if ever I want to connect it directly to a separate tank (for example: use at home, tailgating, etc....anywhere the TT isn't).
