New Dual Tank Pressure Regulator We Installed (Italian made) - Nice!

As part of the mega-hassles repairing our Suburban SF-30 furnace, we did replace our standard Camco dual pressure regulator with a new design, the Cavagna (52-A-890-0006C) Auto Changeover Regulator Kit, which we bought on Amazon for $43.

It is very cool. The visual gauges work great, and unlike the CAMCO and other dual pressure regulators, this one has ADJUSTABLE output pressure, which is nice. But, the pressure display is its best feature (See pic). It really works unlike the others on the market.

The only drawback is that this unit, being made in Europe, is not designed for a perfect retrofit to American RV dual tank setups. It needs a different bracket, one like the CAMCO unit has. That said, I was able to install it OK with some ingenuity, but if you buy one, be aware that it is not an exact replacement. It is a better unit, though.

You cant see this in the picture but it does have a selection lever to point at one tank primarily, or you can set it in the middle and it will do the auto switchover thing.
