No heat

No heat! 2016 Sunseeker, still learning....set thermostat to AU, then furnace. Blows cold air, don't think I hear clicking igniter. On shore power. Worked fine a few weeks ago. Propane 3/4 tank. What are we missing?

Are you able to light your stove?

No heat

Try closing the valve(s) on the tanks, turn off all gas items, then slowly opening the tank(s) one at a time.

If still nothing then tap the regulator with the handle of a screw driver.

Go outside and see if any heat is coming from furnace exhaust ( Be careful it is HOT). If so it is working. I does take a while for for heat to come out. So try again only this time let it run for a while.

How much time are you giving it ? the furnace goes through a purge cycle and it will blow cold for awhile before it tries the ignition cycle , then once lit it takes some time to heat up .
or bad sail switch or bad pc board or flame sensor or ???

When it's on blowing Luke warm air, go outside and starting from a distance carefully feel the exhaust air coming out of the furnace. Is it really hot? If so you may have a duct issue. If it's not hot at all then you know there's either no ignition, combustion air flow (sail switch), or fuel (propane) flow. When first turned on you should hear the fan run first. A few seconds later a series of clicks (ignition). The clicking will stop once the fuel is burning. The furnace will give 3 attempts. After 3 tries and it doesn't light it should shut down.
Post results.

It is blowing hot air on the outside. I did hear faint a click a couple of times but it shuts off after a few minutes.

If it's blowing hot initially then shuts down you may have a fuel flow issue. Are you sure the tank is full? You could have a regulator going bad.
Try this. Light your stove top burner. You should have a nice blue flame. Now, while the stove top burner is on turn on the furnace and watch the flame on the burner. If it goes real low and/or burns yellow then I'd suspect there is a fuel pressure or flow issue. It may be a simple regulator replacement.
Do you have a switchover regulator and a dual tank setup? Again, make sure the tanks are full.

Well here is what we find....heat was working fine in 29 degree weather. Quit after 4/5 hours. Propane turned all the way on, system blows Luke warm inside, outside it is blowing hot air. Stove lights fine. After a few minutes of blowing Luke warm air, system shuts down. Any last thought s?

You still under warranty? You may need to have it replaced. That's what happened to us. Now it works like a charm.

RVChick, not under warranty as we are the second owners and warranty non-transferable. Exactly what did you have to replace?

No heat

I would suggest to go back over the suggestions already given and try those.

What temp do you have the thermostat set to? And what is the temp in the coach (you find this by turning the thermostat to off and then press + or -. You can then turn the furnace back on.) Just looking for what your temp differential is.

Same thing happens with ours and I'm guessing the heater unit and all attached parts are fine so I wouldn't worry about that. After working for us (like yours, 4-5 hrs) it shuts off. We think the regulator is freezing up for some reason, maybe moisture in our LP tank. Haven't figured it out yet but did buy an electric ceramic heater that works great down to about 30-35 deg.

If the regulator was freezing up, then the stove would not work or the WH on propane.

Critt, did you do the test like I suggested in post 10? I still think your regulator is not flowing enough to support flame in the heater but may be able to support just the stove. You never posted the results so I assume it was never performed.
Again, allow the heater to run while you watch the burner on the stove. If the flame on the stove starts turning yellow and dies down followed by the furnace not putting out heat, I'd suspect a bad or misadjusted regulator. Some have an adjustable setting.

This is my problem. The stove works fine when the furnace is having issues. I've read the furnace is very picky when it comes to the gas pressure and the stove is just like a gas grill at home. I've purchased and installed a new dual-stage regulator with the same results, sometimes it doesn't work when it gets below ~35 or so.
