Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Propane Systems sub-forum since the OP is asking specifically about Propane and not a general question.

Do you have a stove or gas hot water heater? Are they working?
Have you lifted it up the tank and checked the weight? Lots of places online to find out what an empty tank weighs(there are different sizes, even here if you use the Search at top right of page.

Tank is turned on?

Throw your camper model in your Signature, will help for future requests.

What is low?

The heater should run until the tank(s) are empty.

As mentioned, do any of your other LP appliances work?

You either have propane or you don't.. Fill your tanks, bleed them and get back to us.

Before I ask about propane supply, I think we need to know exactly what you mean by "not kick out heat".
Does the furnace blower seem to run but the output air is cold? OR
Does the furnace blower not even stay running?

Please describe the steps of its operation.

No heat from furnace.

The stove works for maybe minutes
then the flames extinguish
I filles both tanks . The Furnace kicks on but only blows cold air. So maybe that helps with some more feedback from you all
Which I thank you all very much.
I'm a newbie as I'm sure you can tell

I assume the propane tank valves are open, correct? It may be necessary to light a couple of burners on the stove for 5-minutes or so to bleed air out of the propane lines from the tank(s). Try that and then try the furnace.

Good luck

Might help if you let us know how mechanically inclined you are.
Do you know how to work a volt/ohm meter?

Here is a link to a furnace repair/install manual from a previous post in the Furnace section. Might help when you are asked to try some things. It may or may not be for your furnace.

http://manuals.heartlandowners.org/m...e_Suburban.pdf

Might want to see if there is a shut off valve at the heater for LP. I have no idea as I am a newbie also.

Just an fyi, I had intermittent heat last fall for some odd reason. Came on but would not stay on or not come on at all. No rhyme or reason as to why it shut off. I think I had disconnected my tanks prior to this but not sure. Because of that you might want to try the previous post about bleeding the lines at the stove again. They should stay lit. Do they relight right away or do you have to wait a while to relight the stove? Good flame on all the burners at the same time?

I think I turned my water heater to gas a couple of times and it cleared up after that. Why?? Who knows. Maybe had some air in the lines? Don't think I tried my stove at the time or if I did maybe the gas line to the water heater is closer to furnace??

This leads me to believe you have a LP/flow issue.

You could have a faulty LP regulator.

The tanks have excessive flow devices in them to limit flow and often trip when opening a valve but if this happened before you filled the tanks then it may not be that.

The furnace won't light because there isn't enough LP flow to operate the burner.

If you are not confidant checking the LP system, you may want to find a competent technician.

Tanks that are getting low and in cold weather below freezing will quit putting out enough gas to run the furnace . so what is low ?
