Thanks for the update. Too bad they're $125 each.. Two would probably be an ideal remedy for those camping in the frigid weather. It was -24F on my way in this am

I'm done with winter, but I don't think winter is done with us. Was -31F at 4 am. They are saying it could warm up to 35 or 40 for Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks Scrapper! That explains a few things for me! I that little valve to the right of the white box which has the regulator under it, with the wires going to it is the gas detector valve! I heated it with my heat gun for about 2 minutes and just like that my stove lit and furnace now works great! Thanks all for your input! Saturday morning bright and early we are headed for Florida with heat ! You all take care and be safe!

Not that it's a lot cheaper but my Amazon says about $26 less each than what you quoted.

Was -19ºF here today. Surprisingly my 35,000 BTU LP heater on my 30lb. tank fired right up!

I would run the generator and use the heat pumps in the AC units to keep the coach warm, just don’t carry water until you get to warmer temps

Most heat pumps don't work much below 40 degrees

Good point, I’ve used mine in the 30’s but nothing lower. I guess he’s back to being cold until he to warmer climate. I live in Minnesota but I haven’t tried using propane at these temps to but I will keep this in mind when I do next year

An electric blanket is like $6 at Goodwill.... You could put it on a HD timer where it would come on for 30 minutes every couple of hours... Wrap freebie Harbor Freight moving blankets around the outside of e electric blanket, restrain with bungie cords.

Had same issue in past. Whenever it gets below say about 20* I partially protect or cover the head valve. I don't wrap it completely, just on the windward side. I have used a small bathroom rug to cover just the top of the tanks. I also use a thick cotton car washing glove..lol. It was all I had at the moment and it worked! Just wrapped it halfway around the valve to keep the cold and any possible windchill at bay. I'm in a fiver with two 40 pounders. My repair gal advised that at times some condensation can develop in/around the gauge and will interfere with the gas flow. Never had another problem even at 0-5* at night for several hours. A thin coating of Ice can also form on the tanks; it will appear at the top level of propane and then downward. Good luck.

Thought I had a bad control board. Turned out, after a little troubleshooting, all it needed was a tack weld on one bad 'area'. It did cost me $125; better than a whole new furnace! The repair person tested it and it was based on a sequence of lights that directed him to the issue. Phew.
