Off-The-Grid Propane Washer/Dryer Combo?
Is there a washer/dryer combo that works with propane for off-the-grid camping? Or, should I stick with a unit like this LG using a generator? (I'm thinking generator.)

I have seen some 24v DC washers, some solar powered washers and those washers spun by hand but I have not seen a LP powered dryer for R/V use without electricity.

Probably the only way is to use a propane powered generator, to provide electricity for the washer/dryer.

I would hate to use a washboard in the river in place of the washer, but a good old fashioned clothesline rack (Maybe one of those compact ones) might be better and certainly cheaper. than any dryer. Sheets dried in the sun and wind feel so nice...

Absent a propane powered generator, I don't see any possible way propane alone could power a washer or dryer.

Don't any of you folks remember the gasoline engine powered washers that used to be common in the country? Simple to convert a gasoline engine to run on propane.
The solar powered dryers work best when boon docking. You can pick up a hank of clothesline and pins for likely less than a fiver at the big box stores.

A washer uses too much water for off the grid camping. You would rapidly use up your fresh water and I don't advise dumping the soapy water out on the ground. Unless you have a water source and a septic system to accommodate the soapy water I would suggest hand washing and use a clothes line.

Clothes washer,dryer
Try Lehman's. They are based out of Ohio, & have a website & catalog. Many options. I use a plunge washer camping. Works great & less than $20.
