Propane Gauges

Just wondering if anyone uses any type of propane gauge on their bottles. I have seen a few different styles, Seems like a good idea but just not sure if they work or not.

I am new to RV'g and have 2 tanks in my 5th wheel. We have had one tank go dry, but not both. Our BBQ grill has a gage at home, it is not very accurate. I have run out in the middle of a party. We have looked for gages and there does not seem to be anything other than the BBQ gages. We have heard about the water test, which is running hot water down the out side of the tank and the water will bead up when it hits the line where there is gas.

Good luck,

Big Bird

bsmall,
Those were exactly the ones I was looking at.....and so far they seem to be fairly accurate for you?

bsmall, thanks for the link. I make several trips a week to the OKC area and pass by that dealership. I'll have to stop and pick up one. When I do I'll let everyone know how well they work.
