Propane Leak

In our 2014 Forest River Georgetown 360XL we got home from a trip and heard a hissing and smelled propane - strongly - outside. I opened the propane basement door and the hissing was coming from under a plastic protector that is over the regulator valve. When I turned the valve off, the hissing stopped. I moved the plastic dust-shield out of the way and it appears that a screw or something fell out of the bottom of the regulator. In the photo, I've pointed at where there is an empty spot that the hissing is coming from.

Picture is fuzzy when enlarged but is that opening labeled "Vent"?

If so nothing fell out, the regulator has failed. Internal diaphragm most likely has a hole in it and the regulator needs to be replaced.

Thanks! That is indeed labeled "vent" - it is a 524AS regulator and it puts my mind at ease knowing this isn't one of those repairs that will cost an arm and a leg.
