Propane noise

When my propane is being used, ie.. furnace running, water heater running, I have a whistling or squealing noise from around where my tanks are on the tongue. I don't smell any gas. I was just wondering if this a normal event. I don't happen every time...but most.
Any ideas??

You are hearing the regulator regulating the propane flow. Normal under high load.

It's not uncommon to hear the regulator squealing when using a high flow device. It's most the diaphragm vibrating on the seat. I'd start looking around for a new regulator. it probably won't be long before you need one.
