Replacing a mechanical thermostat with digital

Does anyone have any experience replacing a mechanical heat-only thermostat with a simple digital thermostat? My 2018 Freedom Express 192 RBS has a standard Atwood furnace and an Atwood mechanical thermostat, which is hard to operate. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Almost any heat only digital thermostat will work for you. Even most heat and cool thermostats will work as long as they say they will work on millivolt systems and are battery powered.

Here's one that would work. Honeywell TH1100DV1000 Pro Digital 2-Wire Heat

One of the first things I changed out on it TT.
Yes any basic Honeywell will work fine.
My brother used one with a remote control. I also wired an on/off toggle switch so I could do a manual override and turn it on from bed.

I tried installing Honeywell Programmable in 2014 Windjammer 3025. Can't get heater blower to come on only AC. Went color for color on wiring, with the exception of not attaching blue and gray wires per some previous posts. Anyone have any suggestions?

This worked for me..

I used the Hunter 44157- . I used a similar model and made modifications to control the two speed fan. Search this forum for the instructions as that is where I found them..

The question has never been asked here and it's never been discussed. Too bad there isn't a search function ...

Try here

... and here ...

... and here ...

And there are lots of other threads on this topic.

Good luck.

Post the make and model of the old and new thermostat.
It will also help if you could post a picture of the existing wiring.

The old stat is a Coleman Mach, trying to replace with a Honeywell Programmable RTH221B

I attached picture of wiring from Coleman Mach.

Your pic link doesn't resolve. It returns this error:

Here's one thread that discusses the exact stats that you have.
Coleman Mach to Honeywell 221B

The wiring listed in that thread is:
Red wire to “Rh” terminal (Rh and Rc utilize a jumper)
White wire to “W” terminal
Yellow wire to “Y” terminal
Green wire to “G” terminal
Gray (not connected)
Blue (not connected)

Is this the wiring you followed? If so go back and make sure you have it exactly as listed. Also make sure there's a jumper between RH & RC.
