Singing lp tank regulators

I'm curious if the resonating HUM of my LP Regulators is due more to the way the lines are run thought the front storage compartment of my Wildcat 312QBX.
As of yet I am not bothered by the sound too much. I only noticed when the hot water heat calls for heat when we are in bed. My solution has been to switch over to electric at night just to keep the water hot. It seems to me like the front storage is like a large base drum. The sound resonates though that compartment. Does anyone know if mounting the regulators on a rubber washer or some other insulating mount would get rid of the HUM?

On my previous camper I had to replace the pigtails connecting the regulator to the LP bottles. They chirped pretty loudly until I replaced them with new ones.

I just find it heats the water faster. Plus the Occasional use of the microwave, coffee pot and AC running. Doesn't make the site fuse box to happy.

Regulators will "hum" (cause they don't know the words) occasionally and other than being annoying doesn't hurt anything. Its caused by rapid air movement thru the vent.
If you want it to stop just tweak the adjustment spring (tweak = move just a hair)
If that doesn't stop it replace it. I have had residential regulators moan like a train horn, that usually makes the neighbors happy.

X2. I ordered "Camco" brand propane hoses from Amazon.com and they cured the issue. Other brands that I used did not eliminate the chirping. The noise is caused by a check valve built into the hose coupling. Allegedly a weak spring, per a shop manager at a local RV dealership.

I have the same issue but only when a tank is getting low then it stops after automatic changeover. Does not make any difference which tank.

Timely post as mine is doing the same thing and I am going to change my regulator this weekend as it is loud enough that we can here it over the furnace at night.
