Suburban furnace

I have a 2016 Cedar Creek with a Suburban forced air furnace. The furnace will fire up and blow hot air for about 10 minutes and then shut down. If I turn the furnace off and back on it will fire up and shut off in about 10 minutes again. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should check out?

There could be several things causing this problem. One may be air flow ensure that the return air vent is clear of all obstructions (clothes supplies etc) and that you are getting good air flow out of the furnace. check for obstructions and clean the flue and combustion air tubes. When it stops use a meter and check the over heat snap disc and see if it is open. good luck let the forum know what you find.

I recently replaced the ducts from my Suburban Furnace. Factory tin-foil wrapped on a spring duct was kinked, had way too many 90 degree bends, and one duct was twice as long as it needed to be.

Definitely check for plenty of air flow from ducts when furnace is running. The more the better. If the heat exchanger isn't cooled enough the exact symptom you describe will occur.
