Sunbeam Griddle hose

I have a fitting under my trailer for a gas line(hose) to the portable Sunbeam Griddle. What type of gas line do I need and are the fittings standard or are special fittings required?

Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Propane Systems sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that sub-forum and not general questions.

What model of Sunbeam Griddle do you have? Does it have a regulator? If it does, you will need to remove the regulator to use it with your RV.

A regulator takes high pressure propane (straight from an unregulated tank or bottle) and reduces the propane to low pressure. Since your RV's propane system is already regulated, a "second" regulator on your griddle will choke-down the pressure resulting in a very weak flame or the inability to light the griddle.

You may need to remove the griddle's regulator and replace it with a male Quick Connect fitting (below). Then all you need to do is purchase an RV QC propane hose (below) to go between your griddle and the QC port on your RV.
