'06 Forrest River Lexington 255S Roof Question

I read other posts regarding walking on the roof of the RV, and there were a number of answers. I want to ask the question of roof strength to those of you that might own the '06 FR Lexington 255S model. How much caution should be used when climbing to the roof. I want to inspect the sealed seams of the roof to side and front and back seams, but I don't want to damage the underlayment of the roof. I guess if nothing else, one could use a ladder and go along the sides of the RV and accomplish the task. BUT I thought I'd ask!!!
Thanks in advance for any info!!
Louie...
P.S....While I'm asking, I wonder if anyone might know where water seepage might be coming from on the passenger floor between the seat, the engine turtle back and the front panel (The front panel area is dry).
We live in WA, so the rain has been pretty steady for months now

I use the ladder around the sides and don't get up on the roof. If I had to I would try and lay on the roof and not put my feet directly on the roof with my full weight. I know that other walk on their roofs.

When I am up on our roof of any of the RVs we have owned I am usually on my hands and knees , which distributes my weight. ( soft knee pads of course)

I did go up and test the roof strength, gingerly initially and then as I got comfortable, I crawled all over it, without consequence. My motor home parts and repair man advised to stay off my feet as much as possible. I completed the seams repair in a couple of days.......Thanks to those of you who responded to my question!!
