2012 Rockwood TT roof vent uv breakdown

Recently we were camping and I removed an interior roof vent cushion and found the factory vent cover had shattered into many pieces. The trailer has Maxxair rooftop vent protectors, so I knew nothing could have struck the vent cover. Today I replaced the vent cover and it literally crumbled in my hands. Total UV breakdown, I guess. I just don’t see how it could do that with the Maxxair covers. Anyone else had a similar problem? The remaining vent covers look fine with no visible cracks. Any ideas?

Prob ozone in the air and crappy plastic. I’m thinking of spraying mine with flex seal white rubber spray. Do not even use dam skylight. Heats up bathroom in summer so cover with reflectex material inside.
