2016 Salem Hemisphere Roof Issue

We are having an issue with our roof. The deck panels are loose and moving around.
Talked to tech at an authorized FR dealer and he told me it's normal. I say it's not.

Good morning Dennis.

Sorry for the delay, I was waiting to hear from my manager in regards to your video. He has now had a chance to review it and this is not something that would be covered under warranty as it is considered more of a cosmetic issue. Everything is still attached in regards to the membrane and edging.

If you have any other questions let me know and I will do my best to help you.

I should have mentioned the staples under the membrane that are popping up also. I will send another video showing them. Perhaps the staples will not fall into the "cosmetic" category.

I had the same type of problem with the roof on my 2016 Vibe. At first they said it was normal and not a problem but I persisted and kept moving up the chain of command at Forest river Vibe division and finally got the repair approved. First the dealer tried to repair it but they really screwed it up, so the factory replaced the complete roof under warranty. From the time of first contact to the return of my unit from the factory it was over four months. It was repaired in the first year so the warranty covered it. With yours being a 2016 do you still have warranty? Even if it doesn't I would still keep on them and try to get it fixed.

Unit is 3 years old so the warranty has lapsed. The extended warranty doesn't apply to the roof.
We will continue to press the issue up the ladder.
