2017 HW276 Roof Failing?

Need some advice.

I got a hole in my roof. No idea how it happened.

This resulted in some water ruining one of my led ceiling lights.

The plan is to use a 4x4 or 6x6 eternabond patch on the hole.

As I was mulling that over I started to think is the rest of the roof ok? It's dry feeling and looks to be checking. I'm not sure if it's ok or what I should do about it.

Do I need to paint or do something to the roof in general before I put on the patch?

How would you fix the hole? I'm considering eternabond tape.

Is the rest of the roof ok? Feels rough to the tough and I see what looks like tones of little "X" or "+" cracks / checks all over the surface is this normal? What should I do about it?

+1 to this recomendation for repairing hole in roof.

At the bottom right of the 2nd picture it looks like the material has a straight edge like it is a piece of sheet material.
Anyone else notice this?

Thank you for the eternabond reassurances.

The sheet goods appearance is just an optical illusion. The caulk color and black edge of the roof just worked out that way. I noticed it myself.

Any tips on the rest of the roof?

i had a tree branch poke a hole in the roof during a storm, it was the size of a quarter - slapped some eternabond on it and was good to go. was still holding well 5 years later when i traded it.

Hi, I would use some epoxy putty to fill the hole. Before using Eternabond. Just Eternabonded my major seams on my roof. Was thinking could do the whole roof with it.
