2018 GeoPro FD19 Roof Leaking

Hello, we have a new 2018 GeoPro FD19 which has started leaking from the inside speaker during the last few rain showers. We can’t see where it is coming from; does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Do you mean the right-hand speaker above the dinette? What's above that speaker is much of the wiring for the roof mounted electronics (WiFi, solar, antenna, etc). There's a large cutout in the under-roofing for the wiring. You probably have a leak in one of these roof mounts that's coalescing there.

You can easily remove the speaker and the stereo (Entertainment System) unit to get a better view, but the problem is in the caulking around one or more of these roof mounts.

Thank you for the speedy reply; we will check when the rain stops.

Did you ever determine where your leak came from? We just took delivery of a 2024 19FD. We took it in for minor warranty work, I asked Bish's (local dealer) to look at the sealing around the roof equipment, as it already looked 5 years old. They just called and said the factory installed sealant needs to be completely removed and replaced.

The OP hasn't posted in almost 2 years.
You might get a quicker response if you sent the OP a PM, instead of reawakening a 5 year old thread.
