Adco Cover for 2304KS

Hi there,
My husband and I purchased our 2016 MiniLite 2304KS this past summer and we are looking for a cover to protect it (we live in Vancouver, BC so wet winters with minimum snow). I had found an Adco Tyvek Cover # 34842 on Craigslist for $360 Cdn. and ad says it fits Travel Trailer 22 FT to 24 FT. When I asked our dealer if he thought the cover was the right size, he said the main thing to look for in an RV cover is the door position on the cover to match your trailer.
He said our trailer tip to tip is 23feet 7 inchs. So about 20ft of trailer. So this cover might be a bit long and to try to find one that is 20ft-22ft.

So, just wondering if anyone has our trailer and has purchased a cover. The trailer may be 20 ft, but it also has tall vents on the roof, the ladder at the back and the spare tire . . . not sure what to do.

Thanks for any info!!

Carol

From ADCO:

"Measure RV from end to end (including bumpers, spare tire and ladder) to determine RV Cover needed for proper fit. Do not rely on manufacturer’s specifications. Covers should fit loose."

I'm surprised that they say the cover should fit loose, but I guess it depends on how they define "loose". Our cover is not an Adco, but it fits pretty snug after the corners are zipped up and the ends are tightened. (See pic below) A flapping cover is what causes damage to a trailer.

Cover for Rockwood Minilite 2304KS

Thanks for the input so fast.
Question to you Jay: I'm assuming your Flagstaff is 21 feet, including your hitch (i.e. actual trailer is 19 feet ??) . . . so was the cover you purchased for up to 19 feet? Sorry for all the questions but if I buy this particular cover, I can't return it so I want to make the right decision.

Needs to be a happy medium. Too loose flaps in the wind and damages paint along with breaking plastic parts, too tight weight of rain or snow along with installation can break top vents, side vents, tv antenna's, push gutter drains through cover etc.

In my case, I bought the trailer used and the PO threw in the cover as part of the sale, so sorry to say, I don't have an answer to your question. I don't have a ladder on mine and the spare tire is outside of the cover, as are the propane tanks as you can see in the photo.

I might add that $360 seems a bit high for a used cover. How many years old is it? They only last for about 5 seasons before they begin to wear out, so I'd compare that with what you can buy new.

ADCO

We have an Adco cover for our 2109S Mini Lite. It's pretty loose, because I wasn't sure what to order as far as size. However, we're using it for the 4th winter here in Wisconsin and have had no problems with it. The tie downs keep it snug enough to prevent any damage to the RV. I guess this answer doesn't really help you except to recommend the ADCO brand. Also, take photos as you put it on and then remove it, so you can remember what worked and what didn't.

Classic Accessories Cover for 2304KS

I have a 2016 2304KS and use a cover from Classic Accessories that we ordered through Amazon. The cover is a Sky-Shield Deluxe Travel Trailer Cover that fits 20'-22' Rv's. The cover is large enough that I cover the bumper with the spare tire and a ladder all the way up to the front hitch. It has adjustment straps that allow it to be fitted snugly and access panels in good locations.
The item number is 80-384-101501-EX and we paid $362.53, albeit almost 3 years ago.

Hello, what cover and size did you end up buying? I don't see a final post from you with that information. We bought a Rockwood 2304KS and are shopping for a cover.
Thanks,
Terry Cushman

Classic Accessories Cover for 2304KS

This is the cover that I ordered. I did have a problem with it tearing on one of the gutters of the camper and they sent a new cover to me without a problem. Be sure to put protection on any sharp corners and strap it snug. My replacement has lasted an additional 3 years now without a problem. Very happy with it.

Items Ordered Price $362.53
