Bumped the gutter extension

I bumped the gutter extension on the edge of an overhang the other day. Not hard enough to rip it off, but enough to separate the caulking. What kind of caulk is that up there? I'm going to have to re-seal it.

Suspect Dicor self leveling sealant used at installation. Much better adhesion to rubber roof, EPDM etc.

F/R factory does NOT use Silicone for roof area sealant! The sealant they use? They gave me some at the Fac. but NOT available for retail sale! Dicor is a product that most members use. There is (Vertical & Horizontal) types select the proper one, self leveling is not for Vertical apps. Youroo!!

Isn't the gutter spout on the gel-coated wall, not the rubber roof? Same sealant?

'RoyGBivUV" noted that the item damaged was a "gutter extension". This would be on the side of the unit. I agree that the Dicor sealants made for flat surfaces is very good but in this case wouldn't a silicone sealant, non-paintable at that, be a better sealant? AI installed gutter extensions on my unit and used a silicone sealant on these. I'm not sure how the Dicor, especially the 501 Dicor, would work on a vertical surface.
