Call into Chuck P

Hi everyone, new here!
We are in the process of nailing down a 2017 Rockwood Ultra 2650 Fifth Wheel.
We have a concern with a bubble on the roof about the size of an orange. Sales guy talked to the service department about a fix. Said they would document the bubble, pin prick it with glue or something then seal over the top.
We have a call into Chuck Peterson at FR to see if they argree with the dealership before our purchase. Wouldn't want our local dealership to do something to the roof that would null or void the warranty.
Does this sound like a reasonable fix. Hoping Chuck will call us back. Thanks for any help as we are looking forward to becoming a Forest River family member!

Here is some information that we posted on the FROG Facebook page a couple of months ago. We took it from Dicor Corporation, a leader in rubber RV roofs. The information might be helpful to you.

We occasionally get questions about air bubbles on the roof of an RV. Here's some useful information from the good folks at Dicor that you might find interesting, and that might help to put your mind to rest if you ever notice bubbles.

FAQ: My roof has air bubbles. Is this normal?
Typically, if air bubbles occur they occur during or very soon after the roof has been applied. A couple of reasons for the air bubbles would be that they were not broomed out during application, and we ask the installer not to stretch the material during installation to allow for expansion and contraction of the membrane. Air bubbles will occur with weather conditions and humidity. Air bubbles can also occur at the seams of the roof decking due to flexing and twisting that occurs during transit. Sometimes they occur if there is a significant difference in the temperature between the inside and outside of the unit.

Thanks Bob
That's great! Our salesman has no idea what Company supplies the roof for the Rockwood.
