Caulking Question

Between the rubber roof and front cap should there be an astragal? Or should the channel be filled with Dirco? Here are a couple of pictures. The picture on the bottom has a screw- nail maybe a missed shot.

I filled mine with the Dicor Lap Sealant - Self Leveling (Blue Tube) and used a yellow plastic spatula to smooth it out

Looks like you got some cracking going on so before it rains it might be a good idea to caulk it asap

Wipe the seam area clean then Etrnabond tape (4" or 6" widths) the seam ! All done for 20 years !
