Cleaning rubber roof.

I have a 26' toy hauler I was told to use spic & span but also was told it will strip the wax off the sides. I washed it once with car wash & wax I don't know if that's good. What do you all use. I'm about to clean it again just to see what you use.

We used Murphy's ORIGINAL Oil Soap which was recommended by the manufacturer of the rubber roof on our tt. You need the Original because the newer formulas contain harmful ingredients.
It leaves an oily film which conditions the roof.

Any soap product that you have to rinse off the roof has the potential to remove wax from the sides of your RV, usually in streaks.
I have had great success with Protect All rubber roof cleaner followed by the conditioner/treatment.
You spray it on, mop it off using a bucket. Nothing goes over the side and is easier/quicker than scrubbing with a soap product.
