Corrosion Issue

I was cleaning the underside of the cab over portion of our Maverick 8801. I had several areas where the paint was bubbling and while cleaning quickly realized that some of these areas where corroded all the way through the thin sheet metal. The camper was bought new in 2011. I have never had any issues like this before, especially in such newer equipment. Has anyone else had any issues with this? Can not wait to see how much more its going to cost to have the sheeting replaced.

Issues since purchasing - first trip out to South Dakota, days after purchase - Toilet leaking onto floor - found the waste drop pipe was broken at holding tank with caulking noted around break (obviously broke during initial construction) Later, first rainstorm cab over window leaks badly. Window removed and found no caulking or sealant around window. Trim on interior popping loose.

So far I have been able to keep up with the repairs though replacing the sheeting on the underside - not sure I would want to tackle.

Other than the issues listed, I must say we love our camper and have enjoyed it very much.
