Covered RV

A friend of mine runs his generator under roof A/C load while covered every month. I'm using the same Adco cover but I've been afraid to run the A/C. Anyone here run their generator under load while covered?

Am I to understand that your friend has his RV covered with a storage type fabric protective cover and runs the AC unit while it is covered?

As the AC units need to move air in the external unit in order to transfer heat, I would not recommend that. Sounds like a good way to overheat the AC unit.

re

That's my feeling, but he says he does it every month while in storage. The Adco cover is vented but I don't think that's enough air
