Cracked sidewall

Just purchased a Wildcat 383MB 5th wheel in November. We actually took the unit home on Christmas Eve. Brought it home, covered it. And stored it until late April. We actually took our maiden voyage with it in mid June. We had quite a list of warranty work to be done when we returned. Took it to our dealer. They made all of the repairs with the exception of fixing our chair. Here’s the biggie, when we went back to pick it up, the backside basement door would not close. The door was actually bent. Then looking at the same area. I noticed that the side panel was cracked by the bedroom slide and showing glass strands. (Rig was already hooked up to my truck, no pressure on jacks). Immediately contacted the service department to show them.
Has any one else had this issue?? How was it resolved???

Thank you,
Jim

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. the question you are asking seem to imply you feel this is a MFGing problem which I think is not the case. I think the dealer hit your rig with something bending the door and cracking the panel. I would insist that they fix it and take it from there.

Bummer

Hello, sorry to hear about the damage. I think the dealer did it moving it around too. I always wondered how much this happens after seeing the tight spaces they move rv's around. This also means there's another rv there with damage, if it happened there on the lot. Body shops can do great fiberglass repair if done right. Hopefully they get it fixed quickly for you guys.
