Debris under roof covering

I didn't want to hijack the last post, so I have the same issue. I wash my roof and I noticed two spots under my roof that looked like debris about the size of a Qtip head. What should I do? I am sure most roofs have some type of small debris under them.

I would watch it but would not do anything with it. Take pictures and send to dealer for a record and ask him about a possible solution. Myself, if it bothered me, I would split the covering, remove the debris after taking pictures and put an Eternabond patch over it.

If it were me I'd just keep an eye on it but keep a repair kit handy. I would never put a patch on a roof if it isn't necessary. A potential future buyer that inspects the roof will think you had a water leak and probably believe there is hidden water damage.

When I traded in my previous trailers the first thing the dealers inspected was the roof. I'm sure if I had a patch on the roof they would have lowered my trade-in value.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think I will cut the roof covering and I will stop over thinking this RV stuff.
