Eternabond tape question

I want to seal my front & rear seams on my new toy hauler. I was wondering if the eternabond tape is good for this. I was was wondering what width should I use, I was thinking of 6 Inch. I also want to seal all the vents and sunroof etc. thinking of 4 inch for this. Anyway, I have seen all types of this tape, fabric backed, white backed, etc. Which one should I buy and where should I buy it from? Any help and info on installation would be greatly appreciated.

I live in FL.
thanks 10x

Here in Florida we use safe-t-plex and tape kote 4in seam tape. just clean the roof acetone the seams then tape to finish it up use the safe-t-plex Acrylic Elastomeric RV Roof Coating. If your going that far coat the roof to 20 year rv roof warranty.

Why do you want to use a tape? Why not just use Dicor sealant.

A lot of folks on here swear by it. It is a new trailer and Dicor dries out. I just want another layer of protection. I hope others chime in with experience with the Eternabond.

I have used this on vent covers i have installed and i like the product very well. It seems to adhere very well and only time will tell, but it seems like a good product to me. I have heard that some manufacturers have started using it instead of Dicor caulk, I plan on doing the front and rear seams on mine just as you are thinking about doing. Just look on line for the best price you can find, I don't think you should use the cloth backed, size i used so far was 4 inch and it worked well
