Exhaust Fan addition/replacement

2020 Forest River Sabre 270RL

This trailer did not come with an exhaust fan in the main living area nor in the bedroom. It does have two air conditioners but fans are often all that is needed.

In the bathroom there is a 13" opening with a small fan typically found in the bathroom of travel trailers and fifth-wheels. The small fan has died and I think it's a good time to swap it out if possible.

Can I replace that with a full size exhaust fan since the wiring for the small fan is already there?

How difficult is it to install an exhaust fan in the ceiling of the main living space where is no fan currently? There are small led lights in the ceiling that I might be able to pull power from but not sure it's a good idea.

Others have used the Hengs Vortex I or Vortex II. The Vortex II can draw air in or reverse to exhaust out. It is sold on Amazon. Some have used the RVLOVENT brand. They are both installed from inside, no need to remove the vent from the roof.
Just check the size to be sure they will fit. They're 12V. You can watch installation videos by people who installed them. In the living room, if there is a vent, you can remove the trim piece and look to see if there are wires stuffed up in there. Make sure to check which is the positive wire.

I replaced my useless mini fan in the bathroom for a Hengs Vortex II.
Very easy to install, works much better, and on low, is much quieter.
