Exterion compartment hinges problem.
During my trip to Canadian NWT and Yukon with some driving on unpaved roads I started having problem with hinges on outside compartments doors. The hinges get dust in them and after that I cannot close the door as it's forced out from it's normal location (plastic hinge gets deformed). Being on the road I was able to resolve this situation by cleaning the hinge with small diameter wire that I can insert in that hinge to blindly dig that dirt out of there. This process is very slow and because of that is not suitable. I could not remove any doors with such problem because I could not unscrew a screw that holds the end piece in that hinge. I assume that is steel screw in aluminum thread. Mostly this problem occurs in a vertical hinges and hinges that are lower, near the bottom. Had anybody has similar problem and possibly found a solution?
See pictures.
Thanks!
