Exterior Paint Code for 3011DS

Hello Everyone!
I just bought a 2021 Forester Classic 3011DS. Well, on my first day taking it home, I clipped a mailbox and need to get the exterior paint code. It's the white version. I read through all the thread and checked the sides of both driver and passenger sides, the back of the cabinets, etc. and nada! I can see that there is a Ford color code on the driver's side door (YZ) but I'm guessing it's not the same as the FR. I emailed FR but according to some of you, they are no help. I know it's a newer model but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on where else to look. Thanks for any help.

Our 2020 3011 DS (full paint) has a label adhered to the drivers door jamb that includes the paint codes.



While the company mentioned on the label (Herr Custom Paint) may not be involved in the plain white production paint jobs, they might be able to give you an answer or referral.

Out of curiosity, does the exterior color of the Ford cab match the painted color of the sheet metal you see under the hood? If so, does the cab match the motorhome exterior? If all colors match, then the Ford color may be the total color.

If Forest River had the cab exterior painted, they would not have had the underhood area painted as well. Our full body paint Sunseeker has a different white on the cab exterior, but under the hood is the original Ford cutaway color.

You would think the color would be the same as the Ford E450 cab. When I checked the sticker on the door, it showed the exterior color as YZ. When I looked this up, it showed it as "Oxford White". Then, I filled out the form on contact us page and got an email the next day saying that the white on my Forester 3011DS is "Polar White" (no code). Go figure!

Once the paint codes are determined, where do you purchase the paint.

Local automotive paint supply houses can mix the paint for you. You can also buy automotive color matched paint online in touchup bottles, paint pens, aerosol cans, pints, quarts, whatever. You can buy the primer and clearcoat as well, even two part epoxy clear coats in spray cans.
