Front cap dull

16 Fury front panel needs help. Have been using 303 on all sides and all seems good. Front panel with the big decals very flat and no shine. So, I am going to have to apply something different to the front. Am considering trying ZEP on the front and am concerned what effect this may have on the decals. Any ideas would be appreciated. R

Restoring Shine to Cap

I had a 2007 Lexington 235s (sold last fall) on which the front cap was dull. I used a porter cable buffer with Meguiar's Marine/RV Heavy Duty Oxidation Remover and a Chemical Guys orange buffing pad (followed by a white pad) to remove the oxidation. Then I applied a couple of coats of REJEX. Can't say whether it looked like new but it was a night and day difference. A year later it was still beading water. Moreover, it was a lot easier to clean off the bugs after I did the job.

It's a fair amount of work, but worth it.

Front panel dull

Did you notice if the decals were affected after you applied the wax coat. I am really concerned about the large decals which is why I have been using the 303 protectant previously. It is my understanding that a lot of the conventional wax products will cause decal delamination and peeling. Thanks, R
