Gutter leaks:

The gutters leak where each end meets. There is a long gutter that butts to a short gutter to make a full length gutter. Itís at this junction that is leaking. Iíve put a sealant over this point, but water still seeps thru. Any suggestions with any products used to stop this.?? Thanks

What kind of sealer did you use?
They are not all created the same.

Does it leak to the inside of the R/V or are you saying the gutter simply allows water to run down the side of the R/V at that spot?

You may have to loosen the screws and pull each section away to reseal.

Used a door window clear sealant in the gutter, tried to smooth it out so water would flow to gutter end. Water seeps thru on the outside and down on my siding. Than black streaks.

Had this problem.. Drove me nuts.

Turned out the seam, where they meet, was caulked UNDERNEATH it, so even standing on a ladder it looked mostly ok. BUT, if you put your little finger in there and wiggled around, there was a huge hole BEHIND it. Hard to describe, but the point is it appeared caulked at first glance but was not.

Geocell Pro stuck into the 'hole' with a dobbing stick fixed it.
