Heavy duty vent covers?

Hello,

I own a 2008 Seirra 28 foot 5th wheel just a little over a year. I've had to replace one vent cover just over the kitchen area twice now. the vent in the bathroom and over the master bed area have both with stood major hail storms.
My question is, are there and good well made brands of vent covers that would hold up better then the ones you can buy at the dealerships?

Thanks!

Maxx-Aire.

Another advantage, you can leave the vent open and not worry about rain.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Installed some on previous camper. Told the dealer if every vent didn't have max air covers I wouldn't buy.

It is a standard option to me. I now see that 2nd or 3rd A/C will be on any others.

Are you talking about the (LIDs) on the vents that you have replaced? The vent Covers (MaxAir) stand up Very well to Hail! They have a (5+ year Warr) as well! Youroo!!

Maxxair are the only way to go ... been thru hail storms that made swiss cheese out of my AC cover, but the Maxx-air's were without a single dent or crack.

Icon Direct (Air Conditioner Shrouds | AC Shrouds | RV Air Conditioner Covers) makes an indestructible cover for the AC which I ended up purchasing
