How do you lube your seals with slide toppers?
As the title suggests... Did some slide seal lube the other day before the trailer was put away for the season and figured there had to be better ways to lube the seal across the top of the slide under slide toppers. I used a telescoping car wash brush with a sponge duck tapes to a tire brush... It worked but someone must have a better way?

6' aluminum pole with shaped plastic insert, also have a 6' extension. Plastic shaped insert wrapped with 6 x 9 gauze pad tie wrapped on.. saturate it with 303 and drag across the outside and then slip underneath seal and do it again. Work it from both ends of the slide if need be

I pull my slide in about 6" and stop.
Then I go INSIDE and use a step stool to access above the slide.
Using a microfiber cloth with 303 Protectant, I can slip my fingers and the cloth between the slide out roof and the seal and wipe/treat the entire seal in about 1 minute.
Done! No poles, no duct tape, no fuss, no muss.

WHat is that insert? Or is it home brew?

I use Silicone spray for my lube. Able to crawl under my slide topper about 1/2 of my body, then I run into the skylight.

I use the spray can that shoots a stream of foam. I can hit the seal from either side. I'm usually not that concerned with the top one anyways since it's protected from sun and rain. The side seals I usually hit twice a year.

I use this.

I spray it on a cloth and wipe as far in as I can reach from the sides. I may try some of the ideas posted here.
