How to keep gutter scuppers from breaking off

I’m looking forward to winter (NOT) and will be covering my TT when the inevitable time comes. I live in the Colorado high country where we get quite a bit of snow. How can i protect the gutter scuppers from breaking off from the weight of the snow on the cover, at the same time keeping the scuppers from trashing the cover since they protrude from the TT?

I was told and did use a pool noodle over the gutter extensions. I would also make sure the cover doesn't blow around too much with the wind. It could act as sand paper to the finish or roof.

I used tennis balls when I covered my trailer. Make sure cover is snug.

I use these. A little pricy but they don't fall off like tennis balls and noodles I've tried in the past. They could also keep a bit of upward force on the gutters to keep any snow load from causing damage.

Bought 4 crappy foam balls at dollar store, cut x's in them and shoved 'em on like clown noses. Works perfect. I've had several feet of heavy wet snow at a time on covered roof with zero issues. Most of snow is on top, not on gutter spouts.

I was recently watching some videos on the Adco site as I’m shopping covers for this next winter. One of theirs comes with protectors that basically looked like pool noodles.

Cheap tennis balls will do the trick for the cover, but keep in mind that anything that has a surface will collect snow. I make it a point to never allow more than 4" of snow to accumulate on the roof. Sometimes it gets time consuming, but it has to be done. Our short periods of daylight during the winter months often adds a degree of difficulty to the process.

Do you actually get up in middle of night to clear snow off camper? More than once I've waken up to FEET of snow on camper overnight. And I'm not even in AK!

I can honestly say that I have never got up in the middle of the night to clear off the snow, however at 7:30am it's just as dark as it was in the middle of the night. Our low humidity and average winter temps below 0°F, the snow is crystalline powder and it blows off easily with a decent leaf blower. The hardest part of the process is dragging out the ladder.

Half the time our snow is quite heavy here. I've managed to use a 'snow rake' to pull most of snow off from ground. Just have to be careful not to let rake go too deep, or catch on any roof 'bumps'
