How to remove Dealer Marker from Frame?
Hi
Does anyone know what will remove the white dealer marker, from my frame?
I tried scrubbing with a pad but it started to take the frame paint off. There's a dealer number and model number on the front of my frame.
Any one got any suggestions please?

Another sticker to put on top?
Seriously though... I'd call the dealer and see if they can either remove it or tell you how to get it off.

Black krylon is how I painted over mine.
Could try magic erasure.

Its done with a paint marker so same stuff that takes off paint then you will have to repaint with black.

Dealer paint
I used "Goof Off". It did leave an "Echo". I used a buffer and compound to get that off. Of coarse, I did sling compound over everything. Now all my wiring is splattered -LOL.

Warm it up with a blow dryer (not a heat gun!) and try to peel off if it is a sticker. If it is painted on from a stencil, try goof off or mineral spirits dabbed on the immediate area to loosen it up. Do not rub! It will smear it. This may have to be done a couple of times. Then use a plastic paint scraper and gently lift off. Do not use a back and forth motion, go in one direction only and wipe off the scraper blade with a paper towel after each pass. I have used this method on a couple of RV’s and automobiles.

Acetone on a rag worked first time I tried it. I keep a can in the garage for cleaning metal before touch up painting.

Next time you're in for service, tell the dealer to take it off. Gratis.

It is a sticker or marker or paint?
A picture might tell the story more.

Non-Removable Dealer Marker
Had the exact issue, as most anyone probably has who has bought new. They use a White Paint Pen on the Black Frame Rails. Sanding or applying product that will dissolve the pen's paint...will damage the frame's paint.
Light sand to flush out the pen's paint with the frame's paint...and lightly cover with Flat, Gloss, or semi-Gloss spray paint.

I took the dealer stickers off the TT, but is there some sort of marker painted on the frame? If so, it's not visible. Is it somehow helpful to take it off if it's not generally visible? I refuse to have dealer stickers on any vehicles, unless I'm paid to advertise for them. Dealers have never yet accepted that deal, but I suppose there is hope for the future. Until that happens, those stickers are off before we leave the dealership.

If it's paint try oven cleaner. It works on pin striping. Took a lot of it off my semi truck with it. It didn't hurt the paint.

Thank you for the replies everyone. I ended up using acetone as I had that on hand, I have to respray the area with spray paint as it changed the finish, which I think respraying seems the only way to remove it. It seems a little too permanent that the dealers do that!
Sorry I didn't take or post a picture, but it was not a sticker but white paint that the dealer had put on the tongue/frame, a stock number and model number.
Thanks again for the replies.
