I hate waxing

waxed this beast twice this year, it sure is a lot of surface to cover and my shoulders are killing me. I still have to do the other side because I ran out of daylight but it sure is shiny

Sounds like you used a lot of elbow grease! Mind sharing what wax you used?

I got this wax from work that my vice-pres got at a trade show of acft, he paid 700 dollars for 5 gals, i have been using it for the last 2 years and it last a very long time on my truck, the sides last also but the cap on the trailer does not bead up after 2 months

For me I use NuFinish twice a year spring and fall. Last good between waxings, and is easy to put on and rub out.

McGuires spray on and wipe off with one motion of the arms?? If that's the one you're talking about 10X, then Yes... That's all I use on my cars and truck after I wash them.
used once on my new TT and looks good, feels smooth and no streaks so far...

We just bought our Crusader this year. It is the first time with the gelcoat sides. When will I need to wax it for the first time. I think it looks good now except for needing a wash, I just want to plan in advance.

Just went into garage to get the name on bottle. It's Meguiars nxt generation "TECH WAX". It's a liquid wax with synthetic polymer formula. I used it on my Harleys because it leaves no white dust residue. I also have the quick spray stuff you're talking about. This is the wax version. I tried it on the TT and it is easy to work with. I was just wondering if anybody else has used it on there RV.http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...ech-waxreg-20/

I have used the Meguiars wax as well and found it to be quite good. for a fraction of the cost, I now use Nufinish with equal results. The only issue with Nufinish is that it is very hard to remove from plastic or rubber surfaces.

Have you tried the Tech Wax? It comes right off plastic and rubber. I just got done waxing the side and back. I spoke to a Mcguires rep today and he said this stuff holds up longer due to the synthetic polymer in it. What I love best about it is that it leaves absolutly no dust or white spots.

That is what I used and it is great stuff. It just costs 3-4 times that of Nufinish, with not the corresponding increase in quality. I do like the fact that it doesn't stain rubber and/or plastic.
